In our second article, “The Rock Factory”, we introduced a new operating vision for the future of large-scale capital projects, specifically those in the natural resources industry. This third article describes another of our operating visions, which we call The Living Mine, a technological ecosystem where mechanical, biological and human agents intelligently work together to create a previously impossibly balanced operating system and take advantage of certain technology and innovations clusters, specifically:
